In 1993, Ken Parker and Larry Fishman developed an electric guitar with a radically new design, concept and materials.
\nThe Parker Fly<\/a><\/strong> has a super flat body made of composite materials and a new type of electronics at the time, which combines magnetic and piezo pickups. The body and neck are made of wood, which is covered with a composite material made of carbon\/glass fiber and epoxy like an exoskeleton, and the fingerboard with the stainless steel frets is made of the same composite material. The coating is thinner than the paint layer.
\nThe electrics consist of a master volume control, a volume and a tone control for the magnetic pickups, a two-stage potentiometer controls volume and tone for the piezo (which is located in the bridge), a 3-way toggle switches the magnetic humbucker pickups (in the intermediate position as a single coil) and a 3-way toggle lets you choose between piezo, both and magnet.
\nThis guitar (Parker Fly Deluxe Hardtail) in the color Majik Blue (Magic Blue) has slight signs of use, the varnish is scuffed in some places, the upper knob of the double pot (for the piezo) is missing.
\nThe electrics work perfectly, the frets are almost flawless.<\/p>\n
