Everything is still stiff and rigid and has to break in first.<\/p>\n<p>You can simply play the speakers and after a certain time the sound will change noticeably.<br \/>\nIf you play really loud, the speaker will be worn out after 2-3 months.<br \/>\nIf you don&#8217;t have that much time, you can have your speakers tuned in at the Captain Guitar Lounge.<\/p>\n<p>In an appliance, the speaker is soft-played at approx. 50% nominal load for 24 or 72 hours.<br \/>\nThe balanced speakers have softer, rounder bass and less scratchy highs.<\/p>\n<p>All new speakers in Captain Amps and Captain Cabinets receive a free Captain Speaker Shakedown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One big difference between new and old speakers is that they are new.
