\nThis 2021 JTM45 reissue closely follows the legendary original and delivers exactly the open, warm, and astonishingly three-dimensional sound that earned early Marshall amplifiers their legendary reputation. The combination of 5881 power tubes and a GZ34 tube rectifier delivers a smooth response, plenty of dynamics, and a wonderfully singing crunch as soon as the amp is pushed a bit.
\nWhat’s particularly fascinating is its enormous range: from open, clean tones to bluesy sounds and classic rock, the JTM45 responds instantly to the guitar’s touch and volume knob. It is precisely this direct feel that continues to make these amplifiers so appealing to this day.
