Captain Speaker Shakedown

One big difference between new and old speakers is that they are new. Unplayed.
The speakers are not yet well-rehearsed, they say. Everything is still stiff and rigid and has to break in first.

You can simply play the speakers and after a certain time the sound will change noticeably.
If you play really loud, the speaker will be worn out after 2-3 months.
If you don't have that much time, you can have your speakers tuned in at the Captain Guitar Lounge.

In an appliance, the speaker is soft-played at approx. 50% nominal load for 24 or 72 hours.
The balanced speakers have softer, rounder bass and less scratchy highs.
