Since the 80s, many manufacturers have been trying to create a typical amp sound, partly to revive the old sounds from the 60s and 70s, partly to differentiate themselves sonically from the competition.
At the request of many of our customers and because it is Gregor’s own concern, we were looking for an amp manufacturer for a neutral sounding amp. Means: no master volume, therefore no effect loop-in, single channel, sensitive volume control, passive tone control, low distortion operation of the power amp (diode rectification, oversized transformers).
After a long odyssey, we found the right partner company in the Linnemann company from Ilmenau.
