This Continental CS-0 Cutaway Resonator from 1995 is first-hand and was assembled in Munich in the mid-90s.
The metal body made of nickel-plated brass with a palm tree motif provides the classic, assertive resonator sound with plenty of projection.
The flamed neck is particularly interesting: made by Stefan Zirnbauer (Munich Guitar Company), at that time still operating under the name Munich Repair Shop.
The assembly was carried out by Günther Lutz from AMI Musical Instruments in Munich.
An unusual combination of German craftsmanship and classic resonator construction.
