1995 Marshall – 1960AX – ID 5594

Original Marshall 1960AX Cabinet from 1995, the early and sought-after checkerboard reissue 4x12. This model was Marshall's first reissue speaker and was developed to match the Plexi reissue tops such as the JTM45, 1987X, 2061X and 100 watt JMPs.

Equipped with Celestion G12M/25 "Greenback" speakers, still made in England (not the later China series).
Classic, open vintage midrange character with early response, exactly the sound you associate with late 60s / early 70s Marshall stacks.

The mortised housing ensures excellent resonance behavior. The original 70s checkerboard upholstery fabric is slightly faded and emphasizes the authentic vintage look.
Technically and visually very convincing, ideal for stage, studio or as a collector's item.
Includes four screw-on castors and matching protective cover.
