2022 Friedman – Mini Dirty Shirley Head – ID 5500

With the Mini Dirty Shirley Friedman Amplification is launching a 20-watt version of the popular Dirty Shirley top.
The top, which is handmade in the USA, looks like a shrunken version of the Dirty Shirley head, measures just 451 x 210 x 205 (WxHxD in mm) and weighs in at a back-friendly 9.5 kg. The black Tolex housing has a stylish black and white cover on the front, with the controls in the lower third offset to the right. The amp is switched on and off on the right-hand side of the control panel, but you won't find a standby switch. According to the manufacturer, the tubes should be given one minute of life-prolonging pre-glow time after switching on.
