1979 Gibson – Les Paul Custom – Bullseye – ID 2570

This custom was repainted in 1984 (receipt for 1067DM !! is attached).
The lacquer shimmers like an emerald lizard between red, violet, blue and petrol green, depending on the light and viewing angle.
The bullseye finish on this Les Paul was created long before Zakk Wylde's Signature Series Les Paul and years before Zakk Wylde joined Black Sabbath in 1987 and became famous.
The guitar probably once had a (Floyd Rose) tremolo installed, which can still be guessed under the paint and on the headstock. The bridge is newer, but still really "golden".
There are two potted Schecter humbuckers installed, which are also from this period. We had one rewound by David Barfuss. After the lacquering the Paula was probably played only rarely, the condition is very good.

It plays superbly easy, like a real "Fretless Wonder" and it sounds fantastic too.
