It is now almost 10 years since Paul Vincent passed away.
We were able to sell many of his instruments and amplifiers in the Guitar Lounge and now we can also offer this very fine pre-amp.

Focusrite Red was released in 1994 and is still one of Focusrite's most successful and well-known hardware products. With their half-inch thick red anodized aluminum body and polished steel top and bottom covers with the classic "ff" detail, the original Red are truly distinctive. Their natural, unobtrusive sound and unmistakable style have earned them "iconic" status in the pro audio world. Almost every major studio has a Focusrite Red or used to have one.

The Red 1 Quad is the four-channel version of the classic Focusrite Red 1 mic preamp - discrete, Class-A topology, with a generously dimensioned power supply and the Lundahl transformers typical of the Red series. Developed for maximum headroom reserves, high transient imaging and very low distortion values.
