1958 Fender – Telecaster – ID 4992

Peter bought this Tele from City Music in Solingen in 1995, the invoice is included.
It was declared as built in 1958, unfortunately not much is original anymore, so it is difficult to date it exactly.
The Ash body was refinished in yellow and the pickups were rewound.
The Bridge is from 1958. The tuners have been renewed.
The original machine heads are included, but one is missing the stamp.
The neck was replaced by a Warmouth with 22 frets.

Great player tele with twang and character!!!

This guitar comes directly from the possession of Peter Wölpl one of the most renowned German professional guitarists.
He played with greats such as Billy Cobham, Wolfgang Schmid, Klaus Lage and Falco. He also became known through his participation in the TV series “Super Drumming”. In addition to his work as a musician, Wölpl is also active as a producer and lecturer, including at the Popakademie Mannheim and the Berufsfachschule für Musik in Dinkelsbühl.
