You love the classic Strat sound, but need more stability, sustain and direct punch? Then this hardtail Stratocaster from 1971 is just the thing for you!
With its lightweight alder body, it is perfect for long gigs and extended jam sessions, while the hardtail bridge provides a tighter low end and more sustain - without any annoying tremolo wobble.
This 1971 hardtail Strat is a real rarity and perfect for players who love the full, direct Fender tone - without a vibrato system. Vintage vibe, great sound and a joy of playing (jumbo frets) that is addictive!
The guitar used to have a 69 neck from a tremolo strat, now it has a 71 non-tremolo neck again.
It fits perfectly in the neck pocket and is super easy to use with the jumbo frets.
Lightweight alder body - perfect for long gigs and extended jam sessions
4 - point maple neck
Rosewood Fretboard
Refret - Jumbo frets in top condition
40.5 mm groove width
Three original 1971 Fender single coils - bell-like cleans, cheeky mids and enough bite for any stage
Hardtail bridge - direct, defined sound with extra sustain
Original pots from the 52nd week of 1970 - genuine testimony to the early 70s
