1971 Paulino Bernabe - Classical guitar - ID 2300

Paulino Bernabé first received musical training from Daniel Fortea and then learned the art of guitar making from José Ramírez III.
After setting up his first own workshop in 1969, he developed an individual construction method and a new type of bar system inside his instruments.
From the early 1980s until shortly before his death in 2007, Bernabe worked together with his son Paulino, born in 1960, who took over the workshop in Madrid from his father.

Instruments built by Paulino Bernabe have been played by internationally renowned guitarists, including Narciso Yepes, Johanna Beisteiner and Alexandre Lagoya.
In 1974, Paulino Bernabe (father) was awarded the gold medal at the International Crafts Fair in Munich (Germany). He died in 2007.
