This 1972 JMP 100 Model 1992 comes from first hand and is in very good, exceptionally original condition and comes without modifications.
The Super Bass is not only interesting for bassists - many guitarists appreciate precisely this somewhat rounder, more open response compared to the Super Lead.
Eddie Van Halen played with a Super Bass for a long time and is responsible for the term"Brown Sound". The VH debut album from 1978 was recorded with such amps.
With the right settings, everything from warm vintage crunch to classic plexi drive is possible.
We have completely checked the amp in our workshop, everything is fine.
Two of the electrolytic capacitors show slight efflorescence at the bottom, but are still working.
For reasons of originality, we have not exchanged them, but can do so on request.
