1984 Marshall – JCM 800 2205 – 2 channel with reverb – ID 5633

Original 1984 Marshall JCM 800 2205, the switchable 2-channel top with integrated reverb - one of the most versatile representatives of the JCM 800 series.

The 2205 offers a clean/crunch channel as well as a lead channel with master volume, making it much more flexible than the single-channel 2203.
The integrated spring reverb adds additional depth to the amp without diluting the direct, aggressive basic character.

In terms of sound, the 2205 delivers exactly what the early 80s JCM 800 stands for:
tight bass, biting mids and a powerful, compressed high-gain sound that asserts itself perfectly in the band structure.

The top has been freshly serviced including a cap job (electrolytic capacitor replacement) - so it is technically up to date and reliably ready for use.
