The legendary Soldano SLO-100 is one of the most influential high-gain amps ever and is still regarded as the reference for modern tube sound. Since its introduction in 1987, this model has set the standard for high-gain designs and has had a decisive influence on the development of the boutique amp market.
This example from 1997 is first-hand and represents the classic, unchanged design of the early SLO era, the very version that created the legend.
It is not without reason that the SLO-100 was found in the rigs of greats such as Eddie Van Halen or Warren Haynes . Warren Haynes. An amp that is equally convincing in both rock and blues contexts.
The amp offers uncompromising high-gain sound with a tight low-end and pronounced overtones, surprisingly clear, articulate clean and crunch sounds and a classic 3-band tone control with presence for precise tone shaping.
A real collector's item and at the same time a fully-fledged workhorse for stage and studio.
