1975 Fender – Jazz Bass + Precision Mod – ID 3040

This 75 jazz bass has been heavily modified for studio work. Two basses in one!
In addition to the old J-Bass pickups, P-Bass pickups were planted. (Producer David Barfuss)
Underneath the custom pickguard, you'll find millings in the wood that weren't necessarily done very professionally.
Apart from the looks, the bass is very good, the additional pickups make it extremely variable.

The bass comes from the estate of Jörg Evers.
He was guitarist for Amon Düül II, Embryo and the Peter Maffay Band and the Munich punk band The Pack.
Presumably he also recorded with it in Giorgio Moroder's legendary Musikland studio, at least the label indicates that.
