1979 Fender – Precision Bass Fretless + Jazz Bass Pickup – ID 2949

Very rare modified Fender fretless bass with an additional jazz bass pickup from Barfuss.
The bass was refinished a long time ago.
The paint is riddled with countless crackles and is very brittle in places. Very cool look.
It sounds excellent and can be played silky smooth.
Setup incl. new strings, D'Addario 40/100
The sound pot is new. Under the pickguard was subsequently milled, see pictures.
The original Fender instruction manual from 1979 is included.
