1980 Fender – The Strat – CAR – ID 5091

"The Strat" was introduced in the early 80s as Fender's top-of-the-line model - much more elaborately finished than standard Strats.
With this series, Fender also said goodbye to the 3-point neck mounting.
The Matching Headstock version was only available in three colors: Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple Red and Arctic White. This example comes from a first-hand owner and is in excellent condition.
