2013 Gibson – Frank Zappa Roxy SG – limited to 400 pieces – ID 4001

The Frank Zappa Signature "Roxy" SG was launched as a limited series in 2013. It was the first Gibson USA SG to be fitted with genuine holly veneer on the headstock since 1969. Production was limited to 400 units.
This guitar was designed in honor of Frank Zappa, one of the most influential composers and musicians of the 20th century.
His music broke down the boundaries between rock, jazz and classical music. No genre was safe from him.
It is modeled on his guitar, which he mainly used on tours in the 70s and in this form on the recordings for the live album "Roxy and Elsewhere".
Frank Zappa expanded the sound of his SG by modifying it.
2 mini toggle switches allow single coil and out-of-phase sounds to be called up.

The guitar has slight signs of use and small pressure marks, the filler around the Mother-of-Pearl logo is drawn into the headstock veneer.
