With the Godin A6 Ultra, the Canadian manufacturer presents a hybrid guitar , which produces both an authentic acoustic guitar sound and an expressive electric guitar sound via an integrated piezo element and a mini humbucker. The solid construction, consisting of a solid cedar top and a hollow-core maple body, produces a fast response and makes the A6 Ultra a lightweight despite its solidbody construction. A flat mahogany neck with a Richlite fingerboard offers the playing feel of an electric guitar and at the same time, thanks to a nut width of 42.8 mm, the generous space of an acoustic guitar, making complicated solos and even extensive fingering patterns a breeze. However, the Godin A6 Ultra NT SG owes its versatility to its extensive pickup system, which features a custom Godin under-saddle transducer in addition to a custom Godin mini humbucker. Thus, the instrument amplifies a rich acoustic guitar sound and also offers the warm sound of an electric guitar. The dual system is controlled via a preamp , which is equipped with a 3-band equalizer. Two outputs allow either independent or parallel use of the two pickup types. The scope of delivery of the Godin A6 Ultra includes a sturdy case .
