Gibson BB King Lucille 1995 - Customized - first hand
This Gibson BB King Lucille serial number 92165545 model ARLCEBGH was purchased by the owner on November 24, 1995 as a brand new instrument.
The guitar was played a lot and customized over the years for the guitarist (blues rocker) and developed into an absolute player guitar.

The pickups were replaced around 2003 with 1957 style Kloppmann humbuckers, gold aged.
It was also equipped with Bumble Bee capacitors selected by A. Kloppmann.
The volume pots have a perfectly tuned treble bleed - when the volume pot is turned down, the sound simply becomes dynamically cleaner without any loss of treble and bass.
The bridge and tailpiece were refitted with Callaham hardware.
The 6-step Varitone circuit (nobody really needs it) was removed and the whole circuit was re-soldered to regular standard pickup circuit - Bridge / Both / Neck PU. The stereo output socket is still present but deactivated.
In October 2021, she received a new saddle (bone) from Mojo Instruments Peter Hampel.
