Description

1978 Fender Bassman 70 – The Old-School Giant with a New Lease on Life!
Here comes a real classic from the golden days of Fender: the Bassman 70 from 1978!
This hand-wired workhorse delivers the classic warm, rich tube sound that’s loved by bassists and guitarists alike. The Bassman was originally designed as a bass amplifier, but it quickly gained a huge following among guitarists.

This amplifier was inspected in our workshop; among other things, the heater balancing resistors were replaced, new output tubes were installed, and the power selector switch was permanently wired to 220V. The capacitors are old but still show good test results. If desired, the new owner is welcome to have us perform a capacitor replacement on this amp.

- 70 watts
- 2 x 6L6 power tubes
