1965 Fender - Stratocaster
Sensational player with incredible mojo! Be sure to try it out!
Early 1965 Fender Stratocaster with all pre-CBS features except the white pickguard.
This guitar was on the road a lot and was played a lot. This is another look that the custom store will never be able to replicate.
Such a guitar always sounds different from the one that has spent its life in a suitcase under the bed.
The volume pot was replaced, the two tone pots date back to the first week of 1965.
The switch was replaced with a 5-way switch.
The riders of the tremolo were replaced by brass ones, probably made of brass. from the Schecter accessory program.
A Roland synth pickup was installed on the pickguard in front of the tremolo. The indentation in the pickguard is still visible.
The Grey Bottom pickups have typical values of 6.02k(B), 5.85k(M) and 5.59k(N).
The neck was freshly fretted with medium jumbo frets and plays like a dream.
It has a Brazilan Rosewood fingerboard, still with clay dots.
It is very flat for the time, but remnants of the original paint, which are clearly visible under black light, prove that it was not shaped.
Neck Date OCT 64.

Maple Neck
Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard (with CITES)
