Charlie Watkins founded in 1949 WEM (Watkins Electric Music)In the 60s and 70s, he mainly supplied powerful PAs for large festivals, such as the famous “Isle if Wight Festival” in 1969, where Jimi Hendrix also played. But he also developed and produced affordable amplifiers, such as this Westminister.
