1977 VOX – AC 30 – 2x Celestion G12M Blackback – ID 5469

This VOX AC 30 from 1977 is a typical example from the transitional phase of the Dallas Industies production period. Already soldered on green PCBs (printed circuit boards), but still with a selector switch for the current in the gray panel. The amp also has six small metal ventilation slots without the "VOX" logo, which are arranged in groups of two. The speakers are still the original Celestion G12M Blackbacks (55 Hz) T1871.

Instead of the cut control, the amp has been modified with a power scaling function, which can be easily reversed if necessary. The Pilot Light has been replaced. The condition is good, only the front cover is slightly damaged. All eight protective corners are still intact.

The amp has been inspected in our workshop and the power amp tubes have been replaced.
