2020 Cream – 5E3 – Tweed Deluxe + Power Soak – ID 6086

A 5E3 Tweed Deluxe with plenty of CGL DNA! The amp was originally built by Cream and then twice at our Captain Guitar Lounge .
Among other things, the transformer section was upgraded with a Mercury Magnetics power transformer and output transformer.
Later on, capacitors, tube sockets, and other components were also replaced. The amp is equipped with RCA and GE tubes and features a 12" Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. The tweed cabinet is from TAD.
And since a 5E3 can sometimes get a little too loud for home use, it also comes with a Captain Power Soak. The conversion costs alone total over €2,000 —so this requires significantly more work and materials than a standard 5E3.
