1976 Vox – AC 30 – Silver Bulldogs – ID 6027

The Vox AC30 is one of the most influential guitar amplifiers of all time, and this particular unit, manufactured in June 1976, dates from the highly sought-after Dallas Arbiter era in Essex.
As one of the last fully hand-wired AC30s "Made in England," it combines the legendary Vox sound with outstanding build quality and impressive original condition.
Particularly impressive is its exceptional condition: The cabinet shows minimal signs of wear, the original covering is intact, and the two Celestion Silver Bulldogs (AlNiCo T1088) are also in excellent condition. It is precisely these speakers that give the AC30 its famous sound and that unmistakable British crunch.
To ensure that the amplifier remains technically up to date for many more years, it was professionally overhauled. In addition to a new, carefully selected set of tubes, the power supply was fitted with new electrolytic capacitors and the wear parts that needed replacing due to age. Of course, the original transformers, chokes, circuit boards, and key components have been preserved.
