The Mesa Boogie Mark II B from 1982 is one of the most influential amps of the early 80s and was largely responsible for the characteristic singing lead sound of the time.
Carlos Santana recognized the potential of the amps early on and was personally involved in naming them: "That Amp Boogies"

The 60-watt version delivers enormous headroom, tight bass and that typically assertive boogie center focus.
From bell-like cleans and crunchy crunch to sustain-rich lead sounds, the MK II B covers an enormous range.
Equipped with 2x Tung-Sol 6L6 in the power amp and combined with a powerful Electro-Voice speaker, this amp delivers pressure, clarity and projection, even at higher volumes the sound remains defined and articulate.
