1985 Reußenzehn – Reu o Grande 2×12 Combo – The Chicago Model No. 2 – ID 5448

Reu-o-Grande is the name given from Thomas Reußenzehn to a small limited series of amplifiers in which all his know-how about tube amplifiers and their modifications has come together over the years.
The amp is based on the Reu-o-Grande No. 1 tuned Reu-o-Grande models (amps of the Rodgau Monotones). Sound open and honest like the old Reußenzehn tuned Marshall SLPs only a bit creamier and quieter to play.
3x ECC83 and 4x EL 34 provide a powerful sound.
In addition to the Sound, Gain and Master controls (less is more), there is also a Presence and Power control. 25-, 50- and 100W.
The amp in cheetah look (deceptively real skin design) and solid spruce housing is infinitely variable, i.e. with a flexible guitar the distortion level can be adjusted on the guitar (without loss of treble) and the master volume can also be infinitely adjusted with the supplied volume pedal with integrated loop-in path.

The 2x 12" combo dates back to the mid 80s (estimated year of manufacture) and is in very good condition. It has been inspected by us and is running perfectly.
At the moment the amp is firmly attached to the flight case base, i.e. the strap has been stapled down (this could be removed without any problems).
