The Roy Buchanan Nashville Signature Tele was created in the late 80s together with the brothers Roger and John Fritz.
The collaboration was short-lived, as Roy Buchanan died in 1988.
There is a detailed video on Youtube.
The Buchanan Tele is based on a 1962 Custom Telecaster with double binding.
The additional third pickup makes the Nashville (country) setup perfect.
The neck was replaced with a maple neck with 22 frets, the original was a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.
