1994 VOX – AC30/6 TBXR – Limited Edition Red – ID 5474

After the takeover of VOX by Korg in the mid-nineties, production of the AC-30 amplifier reverted to the old circuitry of the 1960s, apart from a few sensible modifications such as a stand-by switch, larger ventilation slots and the omission of the current selector switch.

The VOX AC30/6 TB was manufactured by Marshall.
Equipped with 11 tubes (four EL-84, five ECC83, one ECC82 and another GZ34 rectifier tube), the amplifier delivers the typical sound that has nothing to hide from its older siblings from the 1960s. If you have the TBX version with the Celestion Blue Alnico loudspeakers, which were made especially for this series, then nothing can go wrong...Beatles, Brian May, Rory Gallagher, The Jam, Tom Petty...everything is possible.

This VOX AC-30/6 TBXR from the limited series with colored vinyl (only about 100 of the "red ones" with Celestion Blue Alnico were built worldwide at the time) comes from the first owner. The condition is almost as good as new.
The amp has received a fresh service from us, during which the power amp tubes were replaced.

The amp comes with a self-sewn fabric cover printed with a photo of a 1983 Gibson Les Paul 30th Anniversary Goldtop. This guitar comes from the same previous owner and can also be purchased from us (ID 5483).
