The 12-string version of the Model 330, first introduced in 1958, delivers a full and round sound thanks to its sophisticated semi-acoustic concept. This is perfectly reproduced by the Rickenbacker High Gain Single Coils and has become known as the "Jangle Rock" sound by bands like R.E.M. or Tom Petty. With its 24 frets and deep cutaway, the 330 can be played very well even in the highest registers. The 330/12 comes with the classic mono output.
