2019 Captain – FTD59 Tweed Deluxe – ID 5523

We offer a very well preserved Captain FTD FiftyNine Tweed Deluxe from 2019, our uncompromisingly high-quality interpretation of the legendary Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe, hand-built with the utmost care and first-class components.

As with all Captain Classic amps, Mercury Magnetics transformers and a Weber Alnico speaker from the USA are used. All components have been selected to come as close as possible to the historical original sound. The amplifier is completely hand-wired and impresses with its authenticity, dynamics and musical overdrive behavior.

The sound ranges from warm, woody cleans to the famous, sweet-singing tweed crunch with wonderful compression.
Thanks to Master Volume, the amp is much more flexible than the historical model and can also be used at a moderate volume.
