The arrival of Marshall with the JMP-1 into our guitar racks was a complete success!
The preamp produced the typical bone-dry and mid-emphasized Marshall sound in the compliant 19″ format and was or is to this day a welcome guest not only on stages but also in the studio due to its large number of interfaces (MIDI, Speaker Simulated Line Out, stereo effects path, headphone output).
The four basic sounds cover everything that can even remotely be associated with rock 'n' roll and convince with a dynamic and a playing feel that is in no way inferior to the big "tube monsters" from Marshall.
Billy F. Gibbons has often used this device live and countless songs have been recorded with it in studios around the world.
A real classic!
