1970 Marshall – Super Tremolo – Modified – ID 5950

An early 1970s Marshall Super Tremolo is the perfect foundation for that classic Plexi sound, and this particular unit has been expertly optimized for stage use. The original Tremolo head has been transformed into a versatile two-channel amp with a clean channel and a master/gain channel, delivering the legendary Marshall crunch just as convincingly as modern rock sounds.
The two channels are switchable; a footswitch is not included.
The amplifier was fully serviced in our workshop, fitted with a new set of EL34 power tubes, and is permanently wired for 16 ohms. The original red Tolex was once painted over in black; traces of that paint are still visible in places and tell the story of this extraordinary amp.
