1956 Fender – Stratocaster – Top Condition – ID 5618

Exceptionally well preserved 1956 Fender Stratocaster, bought in 2013 from Fretted Americana (USA). The description from that time is enclosed.

A prime example of a mid-'56 Strat with all the classic features of this phase:
1-piece ash body in 2-tone sunburst, powerful "C" with light V-profile, maple neck with 7.25" radius, 1-ply 8-hole pickguard and black bottom single coils.
The guitar is in remarkable original condition with period correct details such as Bakelite PU covers & knobs, round string tree and Kluson single line tuners (Pat. Appld.).
Neck and body pencil dates fit perfectly into the 1956 model year.
Includes original tweed case, also in great condition!
