This Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul is a faithful replica (R0) of the legendary 1960 Les Paul "Beano" with which Eric Clapton recorded the album "John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton". It was precisely this sound that had a lasting impact on British blues rock.

Typical features are the slim 60s neck, the Grover tuners and the PAF humbuckers with Alnico III magnets, which provide an open vintage tone, clear highs and woody mids.
The VOS finish gives the guitar the authentic look and feel of a well-aged original.
A rare, limited collector's item, number 68 of 350 units built. Two small blemishes, see photos.
