1976 Fender – Starcaster – ID 6166

Fender entered the market for semi-acoustic guitars equipped with humbuckers in 1976 with the Starcaster model. It features an offset body, an unusual headstock shape, and the outstanding Seth Lover Wide Range humbuckers.
This Tobacco Sunburst guitar is in very good condition. It was created about 20 years ago by André Waldenmaier (Staufer Guitars)—who was still with Just Music at the time—and was recently re-freted by Peter Hampl (Mojo Instruments) for servicing.
The Fender case is relatively new.
