1962 Höfner – 191 Double-Neck Guitar and Bass – ID 6137

The 1962 Höfner 191 Doubleneck is an exceptionally rare and quirky instrument from the golden age of Höfner. Bottom: 6-string guitar; top: 4-string bass
Both necks are bolt-on and mounted on a thin, double-bound body with a beautiful flamed maple top.
In addition, there are the pearloid-bound necks and the rosewood fingerboards. The guitar has 23 frets, and the bass has 21 frets.
Weighing in at 3,507 grams, this two-pack is actually surprisingly easy to carry. A matching suitcase is included, though it's not the original one.
A true vintage rarity and definitely an eye-catcher—the perfect addition to a collection of unusual instruments.
