Fender In 1964, Fender introduced the all-solid-wood Mustang electric guitar to bridge the gap in its product lineup between entry-level guitars and more expensive models.
The body shape is that of the Duo Sonic, featuring two single-coil pickups and an improved electrical circuit, a short scale length (610 mm), and a vibrato system designed specifically for this model.
This guitar has the features typical of a 1969 model, such as a matching headstock and a competition stripe on the front.
The condition is good for its age; there are a few minor pressure marks. The color on the armrest is slightly worn. The frets are still in good condition; there are some slight nicks, but you don't notice them when playing. The bridge pickup had a high impedance and was rewound and waxed.
