1981 Gordon Smith – G-60 – Refin – ID 6116

Very British, very unique, and with plenty of vintage charm.
This 1981Gordon Smith G-60 Single-Cut features a striking blue top/silver back finish, which was applied in 2005 at Cream Music in Frankfurt.
It was likely delivered in a "Natural Mahogany" finish.
Instead of the classic two-pickup configuration, this model features an Old Boy humbucker with a push-pull control. This makes the G-60 surprisingly versatile despite its minimalist design.
Weighing in at 3,230 grams, it’s also pleasantly light, and the 45.2-mm handlebar provides a nice, secure grip.
Not some high-gloss showpiece, but a genuine "Very British Player" guitar with a history and a sound all its own.
