The tone is provided by two Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers, which are set up to sound very open and dynamic with '50s wiring and Jupiter Vintage Yellow capacitors.
Add to that the '60s-inspired playability with a 12" radius, 24 7/8" scale length, and a comfortably manageable neck. The finish and hardware are already aged right from the factory—just the right amount of vintage look, without having to wait years.
