Black Refin by Mathias Schindehütte - Brazilian Rosewood - Pre-CBS

This 1961 Fender Stratocaster comes from the coveted pre-CBS era and combines authentic vintage substance with professional refurbishment.
The body was professionally refinished in black (Mathias Schindehütte), stylistically absolutely coherent and of high quality.
According to the included letter from Guitar Point, the body has the contours of a 50s Strat, but already has the existing "corner" in the E-Cavity from mid-1959.
You can also see additional holes in another pickguard.
The maple neck with original Pencil Date 9-61 has a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard (incl. CITES) and has been neatly refretted.
The classic "C" profile offers exactly the playing comfort you would expect from early 60s Strats.
In terms of sound, the guitar impresses with three original Black Bottom single coils, which sound open, wiry and extremely balanced.
