1966 Gretsch – 6120 Chet Atkins Nashville – ID 5560

Just as productive as the collaboration between Gibson and Les Paul was the cooperation between the guitar manufacturer Gretsch with the fingerstyle guitarist Chet Atkins. Several popular guitar models were created according to his design ideas.
The Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins Nashville is a hollowbody electric guitar with double cutaway, painted F-holes, 2 Filtertron humbuckers and a Bigsby vibrato.

The previous owner bought this guitar over 10 years ago from our dear colleagues at Guitarpoint, who had purchased it from the first owner. So the guitar has only had two previous owners.

The guitar is in good condition for its age. The binding is somewhat crumbled in places due to typical material fatigue. The gold-plated hardware has now partially faded. The rubber pad of the shock absorber has come loose and lost its elasticity; it is in the luggage compartment. In order to improve the playability of the guitar, our luthier carried out a necessary neck reset. Clean work.
