1968 Marshall – JMP 50 – Plexi – 1987 Model – ID 5884

For sale is a highly sought-after and original 1968 Marshall JMP 50 Plexi Model 1987 - one of the most legendary British tube amps ever.
In terms of sound, the Plexi models from the late 60s are among the absolute reference amps in rock history and are still the benchmark for open, dynamic and organic British tube tone today. Michael Schenker played such 50 watt Plexis in the 70s, shaping the sound of UFO between around 1973 and 1978.

This example is in very good and original condition. A Plexi front panel is rarely found in this condition.
A hole has been sealed on the back (presumably a former direct out).
