Additional information

The construction period of the Marshall 2048 was from 1971 to 1978.
It was one of the first Marshall amps with spring reverb on board.
The foot switch for it was made "Custom".
It still has the nice smooth tolex of the Plexi era and the metal toggle switches.
The case is visually in very good condition.
The potentiometer knobs have been replaced, the connector for the power cord is new, as well as the impedance selector switch and the volt adjuster.
New TAD power amp tubes, fresh service.
