Top-of-the-line model from the golden era of Japanese guitar making!
The Artist series was the absolute flagship of Ibanez at the end of the 70s and is today regarded as one of the highlights of the so-called post-"Lawsuit era", where Ibanez began to develop its own very good designs.
This Artist 2622 dates back to 1978 and is an outstanding example of the excellent workmanship and high-quality materials with which Ibanez challenged the American market at the time. The active electronics with switchable boost, the Super 80 "Flying Finger" pickups and the elegant look with gold hardware make it a real classic.
Freshly adjusted, new strings, ready for immediate use. Good, original condition with some signs of wear - minor stress cracks in the lacquer and belt buckle marks on the back.
