1974 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Tobacco Burst incl. orig. Suitcase
1974 was the first year in which the Les Paul Standard was available again with humbucking pickups since production was discontinued in 1960.
As these guitars were only available as custom orders, they are correspondingly rare to find. The regular equipment with humbuckers was not reintroduced until 1976.
The two Pat. no. T-tops have newer nickel caps instead of the chrome ones.
The holes of the tuning machines have been widened for grovers, the original Klusons are now mounted again (with converting bushings). Some solder joints have been replaced.
Comes in the original black Gibson case with purple lining.
