1980 Gibson – Les Paul Heritage Series Standard 80 – ID 5484

After the seventies Gibson began to reproduce the legendary Les Paul guitars of the late 50s in greater detail. The Heritage series was created from 1980-1982 as a precursor to the Historic and Reissue series. The headstock became smaller again, the top woods more beautiful, the colors brighter, the body became one-piece again, the neck is still three-piece, but at least made of mahogany again.

This guitar with its beautifully flamed maple top in cherry sunburst comes from the first owner and is in very good condition. It has only minor signs of use and the original frets are almost like new.
